PREVIEW: Lakehawk Golf’s Wies Bouwma Set to Compete in National Championship
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (Women's Golf) – Wies Bouwma will represent the Lakehawk women's golf team at the 2026 National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA) Division II Women's Golf Championship hosted Ol' Colony Golf Complex in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The tournament is scheduled for four 18-hole rounds beginning on Tuesday, May 12 through Friday, May 15.
Wies Bouwma became the first women's golfer to earn a trip to the national championship after a seventh place individual finish at this year's district championship. She enters this tournament ranked #15 nationally.
Bouwma will take the course tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. ET on hole 10 with Andi Kate Ramey (Northeast Mississippi Community College) and Lexi Tuinstra (South Mountain Community College).
