Lakehawk Golf’s Bouwma in Second Place after Round 1 in Gaffney
GAFFNEY, S.C. (Women's Golf) – The Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) women's golf team battled cold weather and high winds on Monday afternoon at the Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Invitational hosted at Cherokee National Golf and Recreation Club. The Lakehawk women look to use round one's strong performance as momentum going into Tuesday's final round.
Wies Bouwma leads the charge, currently sitting in second place after round one with a score of 87 (+15), just four shots off the lead golfer. Annabelle Roy holds 15th place, with Johanna Hanneken close behind in 16th.
Tuesday's round will be an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start. The Lakehawk pairings are below.
