Lakehawk Beach Volleyball to Host 2026 FCSAA Championship
LEESBURG, Fla. (Beach Volleyball) – The Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) Beach Volleyball team will host the 2026 FCSAA Beach Volleyball Championships at Lake Jem Farms Beach Court Complex from April 16-17. The Lakehawks enter the tournament as the #2 seed after going 6-2 in regular season conference play, their only two losses coming against Palm Beach State College.
Lake-Sumter's first game is scheduled for Friday morning at 11:30 a.m. against the #3 seeded St. Johns River State College. In two regular season matches, the Lakehawks defeated the Vikings twice, 4-1 in both matchups.
Prior to the tournament's second day on Friday, all-conference awards were announced. Four Lakehawks were recognized:
All-FCSAA Pair – Audrey Pickle/Ellison Saunders
First Team All-FCSAA – A. Pickle
Second Team All-FCSAA – Sophia Cooper
2026 FCSAA Server of the Year (Inaugural award) – Brooke Walker
2026 FCSAA Blocker of the Year (Inaugural award) – A. Pickle
