LEESBURG, Fla. (Athletics) – Lakehawk Golf set a historic mark in South Carolina with the program's first individual champion. Baseball and softball are both in conference play and will take on top-10 nationally ranked opponents this week.
Baseball
- The team went 1-2 over the weekend in its conference-opening series against Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ)
- On Tuesday, the bats came alive in a 9-6 victory over Seminole State, pushing the team's overall record to 11-10.
- Baseball currently ranks top-10 nationally in all major offensive categories within NJCAA Division II.

- Friday vs. No. 1 Pasco-Hernando State College, 1:00 p.m.
- Saturday at No. 1 Pasco-Hernando State College, 1:00 & 4:00 p.m.
Beach Volleyball
- Competed in a tri-match against FSCJ and State College of Florida.
- The team swept both matches (5-0, 4-1), giving Head Coach Neal Stanley his 50th career victory.
- Coach Stanley's squad is off to an electric 6-1 start to their season.
- Beach returns to action March 6 at Palm Beach State College.
Men's and Women's Golf
- Wies Bouwma captured Individual Champion honors at the Pioneer Invitational, winning by seven strokes. She becomes the first golfer in women's program history to win an individual title.
- The men's team finished fifth overall at the Invitational.
- Tripp Watkins placed third individually, his play was highlighted by an eagle in the first round.
- The women return to action March 9, followed by the men on March 22.
Softball
- Softball debuts at No. 24 in the first regular season NJCAA Division II poll.
- Sun-Lakes Conference play opened against FSCJ, with the Lakehawks dropping all three contests.
