PREVIEW: Lakehawk Baseball at Palm Beach State
LAKE WORTH, Fla. (Baseball) – Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) baseball travels to Palm Beach State College (PBSC) for the final Sun-Lakes Conference series this weekend.
The Lakehawks will travel to Avon Park, Fla. on Friday for a single game at 2:00 p.m. Teams will be in Leesburg, Fla. on Saturday for the double header at 12:00 and 3:00 p.m.

PBSC enters the series with a 10-17 conference record and ranks fifth in Sun-Lakes Conference standing while the Lakehawks are in fourth with a 12-15 record.
At this time, three spots of the four spots have been claimed for the Region 8 Championship next weekend.
Pasco-Hernando has secured the first seed. South Florida State College and St. Johns River State College will face off this weekend for the second and third seeds.
Palm Beach State and Lake-Sumter are both still in pursuit of the final available spot in the tournament. This weekend's series will be the final decision maker for post-season placement.
